PENGUINS pool & common areas

GENERAL NORMS:
  • Only people enrolled in our system and in any of our classes (both the regular weekly classes and recovery lessons) will be able to access PENGUINS.
  • Access will only be allowed 15 minutes prior the start of class
  • Only 1 adult, 1 adult with 1 baby or 1 adult with 1 child can access the center
  • In the event that the accompanying adult is a man, please notify us in advance at info@penguinsbarcelona.com to be able to indicate the changing area to guarantee 1.5 meters of distancing in the men’s locker room.
  • It is mandatory sending the signed responsibility documents by email to before coming to PENGUINS
  • The payment of the classes must be made by direct debit, not being possible to pay in cash.
  • Direct debits will be made on the first day of opening of Penguins BONANOVA (June 15th 2020) and Penguins SANT CUGAT (July 1st 2020).
ACCESS TO THE FACILITY:
  • Access will only be allowed 15 minutes prior the start of class
  • Only 1 adult, 1 adult with 1 baby or 1 adult with 1 child can access the center.
  • Only 1 person at a time or family group (adult + baby or adult + child) can access the entrance door.
  • Penguins BONANOVA: the user will have to ring the doorbell and indicate the first and last name of the adult. The next user will have to ring the bell again and share their name and surname such that the PENGUINS receptionist opens the door again. The use of the elevator is limited to people who come with a stroller and only 1 person can access it with their baby.
  • Penguins SANT CUGAT: please use the doorbell to announce your arrival. You will have to wait for the coordinator to arrive, to enter in the facility. The next user will have to ring the bell again and wait for the coordinator.
PREVENTIVE SAFETY MEASURES:
  • It is important to respect at all times the safety distance of 1.5 meters inside and outside PENGUINS
  • We ask all users to respect the directions signs to move within PENGUINS
  • The use of a mask will be compulsory throughout the PENGUINS area, including changing rooms, except in the pool area. We recommend putting the mask in the baskets provided in the pool deck.
  • It will be mandatory to wash your hands both when entering and leaving PENGUINS. There will be alcohol gels enabled at the entrance of PENGUINS and at the reception. There will also be soap in all the changing rooms.
  • Penguins BONANOVA: It will be mandatory to go through reception to get the locker key that will have been previously disinfected.
  • Penguins SANT CUGAT: the lockers with coins will be enabled. PENGUINS staff will disinfect the key and locker every shift.
  • There will be a limited area for changing shoes that must be respected to guarantee 1.5 meters of distance safety.
  • Changing areas and specific lockers will be enabled in the changing rooms to guarantee 1.5 meters of distance safety
  • The locker room will be enabled ONLY to change
  • Penguins BONANOVA: There will be no shower service in the changing rooms. The showers in the pool area will be enabled. The bathtubs in the pool area will not be enabled.
  • Penguins SANT CUGAT: There will be shower service in the changing rooms. The showers in the pool area will be enabled. There will be no hair-dryer in the changing room. during July. 
  • Constant cleaning and disinfection tasks will be carried out in all areas as well as permanent ventilation of the interior areas.
  • As much as possible, all doors in the hallway and locker rooms will always be left open, so that you do not have to touch the knobs (except the access door to PENGUINS and the access door to disabled locker rooms).
SWIMMING CLASSES:
  • It is recommended that adults who come to PENGUINS, come with the bathing suit on.
  • Penguins BONANOVA: in the case that you access the center with a stroller, you will have to park it in the authorized area, zone -1.
  • Penguins SANT CUGAT: the strollers will have to be kept outside, at the entrance of the sports center, in the specifically designed spaces.
  • As always, it will be mandatory to shower before entering the pool in the showers uniquely enabled within the pool area
  • During the swimming lessons, it is mandatory to always respect the 1.5 meters of distance safety.
EXITING THE FACILITY:
  • The PENGUINS snack area and the sale of various products will be enabled, being possible to pay by card (only for services to take away
  • It is important that people who have finished their class do not stay in PENGUINS beyond the strictly necessary time (15 minutes). It will not be possible to remain in the reception area more than 15 minutes after the end of your class. Thank you very much for your understanding.
MONITORING AND CONSTANT UPDATING:
  • These regulations are subject to changes or updates issued by the Government and published in the Official State Gazette.
  • Any new instructions will be duly communicated.

  • Only people enrolled in our system and in any of our classes (both the regular weekly classes and recovery lessons) will be able to access PENGUINS.
  • Access will only be allowed 15 minutes prior the start of class
  • Only 1 adult, 1 adult with 1 child can access the center
  • It is mandatory to sign the responsibility documents (by both parents/mothers) prior to starting any lesson at PENGUINS
  • Penguins BONANOVA: the user will have to ring the doorbell and indicate the first and last name of the CHILD.
  • The use of the elevator is limited to people who come with a stroller and only 1 person can access it with their baby.
  • Constant cleaning and disinfection tasks will be carried out in all areas as well as permanent ventilation of the interior areas.
  • All doors in the hallway and locker rooms will always be left open, so that you do not have to touch the knobs (except the access door to PENGUINS and the access door to disabled locker rooms).

  • Changing areas will be enabled in the changing rooms to guarantee 1.5 meters of distance safety
  • The locker room will be enabled ONLY to change
  • The child will have to put all his clothes in his/her backpack (including the towel)
  • Once the child has his swimming clothes on, he/she will wait in the changing room until the coordinator indicates his/her name. Then. both the adult and child will enter the swimming pool deck, will have a shower (the showers in the pool area will be enabled) and will wait behind the baskets indicated by the coordinator.
  • Once the class starts, the adults will be able to see the swimming lesson at the reception area (chairs will be available)
  • Once the lesson is finished, the coordinador will invite the parents to enter the changing room and wait for their child in the same changing zone they used earlier.
  • The coordinador will then bring each child to the changing rooms.
  • There will be no shower service in the changing rooms
EXITING THE FACILITY:
  • The PENGUINS snack area and the sale of various products will be enabled, being possible to pay by card (only for services to take away)
  • Once the class is over, we recommend not showering in the pool area to avoid crossings with people entering and leaving the center
  • Dryers will be enabled in each changing zone and an agile use of said devices is recommended to be able to evacuate the center when indicated by the coordination personnel
  • It is important that people who have finished their class do not stay in PENGUINS beyond the strictly necessary time (15 minutes). It will not be possible to remain in the reception area more than 15 minutes after the end of your class. Thank you very much for your understanding
